However, in Rwanda, the situation is much more critical. There is an average of just 1 Radiologist per 1,000,000 people. This massive gap puts significant strain on the healthcare system, often leading to delays in diagnosis and limited access to expert care.

This imbalance highlights the urgent need for scalable and remote diagnostic solutions like teleradiology, which can help improve access to radiology services in underserved regions.
